Ahh its been such a long time!! I missed this alot to be honest...and reading your blogs too. Well I guess I should do an update. I'll need to blog a whole lot more to get my mojo back. I'm now on first semester holidays for a month. Thank God for the break though it's been such a hectic half year. A successful one tho. Started my degree in dietetics earlier this year and im really enjoying it so far. I may have mentioned in previous blogs that I was keen on doing medicine but that didn't quite work out. "Non the less" I'm learning to be content. I remember my first few weeks at campus was soooooooo nerve racking ohhhmyygoshhh! I didn't know what I was doing or where I was going. Felt like I was back in nursery! uhmm Remembering directions is not my strongest attribute!!But I survived halleluyahhh☆☆DOING VICTORY DANCE☆☆ and now I walk around like a Boss...occasionally getting lost, but uhmm calling for help ASAP! Okay so here is a summary of the awesome experiences I've had so far* I've always wanted to be part of a worship team and use my voice to praise God and serve others. It was so amazing to finally achieve that dream and its been awesome (^_^).
THE FOW FOW BUNCH
* I made new friends....Two of thee most crazy lunatics even stranger than me which is commendable! One is from Kenya, her name is Abah but I call her 》abahlicious《 she's tall and is slim like moi and foreva on chilled vibes,not like me. Ndumi is the other one from South Africa here but doesn't act like a South African so we agreed she'll introduce herself saying she's from Mozambique! She's short....nooo like really short (hehehe hope she doesn't read this). She's fun and bubbly,quiet yet loud...strange child. They are my hommies and we are always together♡♡well when lectures don't separate us. We decided to come up with a name for ourselves (yep, people still do this...smh) and we agreed on "the foreign bunch" which was later shortened to "the fow fow bunch"...now that I uhmm see it written out, hehe nehh that's no short version. Same number of syllables...okay im getting nerdy. I'm stopping. So yah, many "other friends" were interested in our little groupie and tryna force their way in....it was funny.
After much pressure and convincing, we chose a special few to bare our awesome "fow fow label"...buttt we called them "THE FOW FOW WANNABEES"! ...Three people whose names cannot be mentioned. I'll call them A,B & Z! Extremely random and spontaneous ...they make Uni life a whole lot more fun (^_^)
Okay one last one...
* Home group: This is similar to the traditional youth group at a church but is for university students. It is every Tuesday...loads of fun!!What do we do there? Well we get away from the hectic campus life and just unwind, sing songs,play games but most of all connect with God onba deeper level. I honestly look forward to every Tuesday. So there is my semi long/short update :). I've made very special friends.One particular more than a friend *smiles*
