I wonder if just by the title of my blog post today, there are other people who have the same thought as I do. February 2nd will always bring “I’ve Got You Babe” to mind. That is because today is Groundhog Day, and in the movie starring Bill Murray and Andie McDowell, he continuously repeats February 2nd until he can get it right. ”I’ve Got You Babe” is the first thing he hears when he wakes up each morning reminding him that he is still repeating the day in Punxsutawney, PA.
Today, just so you all know, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow predicting 6 more weeks of winter. So bundle up folks, we’ve still got more cold weather to endure.
Punxsutawney Phil is held by Ron Ploucha after emerging from his burrow Sunday on Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, Pa., to see his shadow and forecast six more weeks of winter weather.
