Summer Selfie
Ahhhhh, summer! I live in the desert where it’s a gazillion degrees outside and the closest body of water is a day trip away. It doesn’t matter though – summer is still summer. Days by the pool and grilling on the BBQ never get old. Our kids have pool side play dates, and man…I’ll tell you…put a kid in water & they’re happy!
I feel like writing an ode to summer today, because a few hours in my own pool on a Sunday is enough to recharge me for the week. It’s like being on vacation even though I never left home. It’s amazing how little it takes to get relaxed. Too bad I don’t do it more often.
So…the simple point of this blog is just to say: Summer, I love you!
