Inside the Blogger’s Studio: Cassandra’s CornerWelcome Cassandra’s Corner - We’re happy to have you Inside the Blogger’s Studio.  This series is a way to get to know other bloggers, while also getting a glimpse into the life of a fellow parent.  Who doesn’t love feeling like they aren’t the only ones going crazy??? With that said, let the questions begin! (And don’t be fooled – she sounds sweet at first but get to the end questions and you see she curses and lies to her children like the rest of us!)

If you had to sum up your blog in two sentences, what would you say?

Cassandra’s Corner is a blog about me finding my way as a mom, wife, and keeping my independence as a girl who loves Pinterest, blogging, fitness, friendship and more!

What thing did you do today as a parent you wish you could take back and do over?

Things actually went very smooth today, especially for a Monday. However, I guess one thing that I wish I could do over was to take more time to play with Jacoby and Drew. Whenever I get home from work it is a whirlwind of unpacking the daycare bag, cleaning up the house from the morning rush, getting snacks, getting boys settled in and preparing dinner. I know that there is so much that I could do after they go to bed and it would give me more time to have quality time with them.

What thing did you do today that you are happiest about?

I am a Beach Body Coach (my side job) and I was actually able to get some of my co-workers signed up for TurboFire. It is by far my favorite work out program and I am thrilled to be their coach and help them achieve their weightloss and fitness goals!

What is your least favorite activity to do with your children?

I hate being outside with them when it’s cold!! I know they need to get outside and play but I am cursing to myself the whole time how I am freezing my ass off and am counting down the minutes to get them back in!

What is your most favorite activity to do with your children?

I love to bake with them, do holiday crafts, have snuggle time and take their pictures!

When your child drives you absolutely crazy and you want to scream a curse word, which word do you wish you could say?

Jesus F’ing Christ.

What’s your favorite lie you have ever told your child?

This year is the first year we have done the Elf on the Shelf. I am having so much fun with Jacoby and telling him all about his elf. He was a little upset that he got a girl Elf, but I told him that I knew a secret. I explained to him that Santa only sends special little kids girl elves, so that must mean he is extra special and a very, very good boy. Now Jacoby is very proud to have “Kate,” and is even more excite to see what she is up to.

At what moment did you realize that you really were grown up?

Oh, God, am I really grown up??? Lol.  I think I have had multiple moments..getting married, buying a house, having someone call me mom, and having my mother ask ME for advice! Besides those kind of moments, I realize I’m grown up whenever I see high school kids, when I get mildly hung over after drinking only 3 beers, when I know more characters on the Disney Channel than I do the members of MTV and the time when I walked into Abercrombie and felt like a wannabe teenager and left because I felt as though I had far surpassed the age limit.
