I recently read a post from Jenny that really spoke to me. In it she asked if McDonalds delivers. Oh girl, you are my type of mom!
With that said, let the questions begin!
If you had to sum up your blog in two sentences, what would you say?
It’s just me, trying to figure out how to be a mom and still hold on to my sense of self and hopefully my humor.
What thing did you do today as a parent you wish you could take back and do over?
I really freaking wish I had gone to the library with more than $3 so I could pay the ransom/fine on the stupid Fireman Sam DVD my kid loves. My disappointment at not being able to check anything else out was visible and I don’t think it made the best impression on anyone. Least of all the wee one.
What thing did you do today that you are happiest about?
Letting go and letting him have chocolate covered pretzels for half his breakfast. I mean really, I couldn’t even pay the damn library fine. Chocolate covered pretzels are probably required at that point.
What is your least favorite activity to do with your children?
Playing ball. I really dislike it. Can’t I just sit on a park bench with the nannies?
What is your most favorite activity to do with your children?
Reading books – nice low energy activity that requires sitting! Yet is highly educational and makes me look awesome.
When your child drives you absolutely crazy and you want to scream a curse word, which word do you wish you could say?

What’s your favorite lie you have ever told your child?
All the fireman in the whole wide world are all asleep so you need to go to bed too.
At what moment did you realize that you really were grown up?
When I really didn’t want to go to the crazy New Year’s Eve party my friends were throwing. I really just wanted to sleep. No…that probably just means I’m a parent and everyone knows you don’t have to be a grown up to procreate. Hmm. Still waiting I guess.
