pile of babies logoWelcome Pile of Babies - we’re happy to have you Inside the Blogger’s Studio! This series is a way to get to know other bloggers, while also getting a glimpse into the life of a fellow parent. Who doesn’t love feeling like they aren’t the only ones going crazy???

One of the best things about doing Blogger Idol was making it to the finals with Pile of Babies. She’s a blogger who isn’t afraid to make you snort when you laugh. And trust me, she’ll make you snort. Go check her out – you’ll be happy you did. She made me a better writer each week in the competition and I’m grateful to her.

With that said, let the questions begin!

If you had to sum up your blog in two sentences, what would you say?

A whole lot of nonsense about a whole lot of nothing. I make you feel normal.

What thing did you do today as a parent you wish you could take back and do over?

I wish I’d played with my kids a little more. But there’s only so much My Little Pony versus Battleship that I can handle.

What thing did you do today that you are happiest about?

Went to the Polar Bear Plunge and watched the crazy. I have a deep appreciation for crazy.

What is your least favorite activity to do with your children?

Feed them every half hour. THEY NEVER STOP EATING.

What is your most favorite activity to do with your children?

Cuddling. I also enjoy squeezing butts and bellies.

When your child drives you absolutely crazy and you want to scream a curse word, which word do you wish you could say?

MOTHERF!CKING MOTHERF!CKER.

What’s your favorite lie you have ever told your child?

I haven’t told them any really awesome lies. We’re a little too honest, if anything. Just wait till they tell you all about their penis or vagina and who they going to live with after Mommy and Daddy are dead. It’s good times.

At what moment did you realize that you really were grown up?

When I had my kids. Until I was someone’s mother, I was just someone’s child.
