Who doesn’t love feeling like they aren’t the only ones going crazy??? With that said, let the questions begin!
If you had to sum up your blog in two sentences, what would you say?
It’s my drug. It costs me money, but it helps my mind escape my everyday reality.
What thing did you do today as a parent you wish you could take back and do over?
I have a 1 and a 2-year-old that are 12.5 months apart. I told them that we can’t go to the beach today because we’re busy. But really, I just don’t want to go anywhere. Leaving the house takes so much work and my to-do list at home is already long enough.
What thing did you do today that you are happiest about?
I walked my dogs, fed the kids, AND washed my face before 10:00.
What is your least favorite activity to do with your children?
Shopping with them at Target in the gigantic rojo limo.
What is your most favorite activity to do with your children?
Going to brunch as a family (the kids eat desserts the whole time and I feast on mimosas with my husband).
When your child drives you absolutely crazy and you want to scream a curse word, which word do you wish you could say?
Hell, as in, “WHAT THE HELL, God Dimmit!”
What’s your favorite lie you have ever told your child?
While potty training my two-year old, she became overly excited about flushing the toilet as many times as possible. So, for some reason I said in a super sweet voice, “No, no, no! The fishes in the ocean need that water. Don’t take water away from the fishes!” Annnnd, it actually worked! We’re saving water and fish. I think we should get a tax write off for that or something.
At what moment did you realize that you really were grown up?
When I drove my swagger wagon off the sales lot. (See video below – it’s hilarious)
