… He’s a barrel o’ laughs! (Although he’s definitely not trying, he cracks me up!)
The hubs and I are undisputed movie buffs, and the Regal Avenues Stadium 20 is our home!
Mike, a tenured employee, has been our “movie guy” (yes, we claimed him as our own) for about 3 years now! He’s loved Larry since his football days!
He’s the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet! He’s always so attentive and helpful while serving as our personal movie critic! He even tells us when to stay until the end of the credits for bonus features! He’s absolutely great!
But honestly, the thing that earned him spot on my blogroll is the fact that he is 100% obsessed with my husband! (I’m talking full on man-crush Monday here!) The hubs claims not to see it, but each and every time Mike sees the hubs…
•His eyes light up
•He screams, “There’s the man!” and literally pushes past me (while I’m saying, “Hi Mike!”) to greet Larry
•He waves at me, but hugs the hubs
•He says, “You’re so great man!” and “We should hang out” about 2-3 times per visit (for at least 2 of our 3 years knowing him!)
•He says nothing to me during the full exchange (I always get a smile but no words, and I always spot him first… Can you tell I’m a little salty?)
And as we walk away I turn to the hubs and say, “Awww! He loves you!” and the hubs gives me the same reply every time, “Oh, Mike is cool man!”
It’s pretty hilarious to watch! (I’ve envisioned myself asking Mike… Why don’t you like me?) But I never do!
You should have seen his face when I asked him to take a picture with Larry! (We almost needed an asthma pump for dear Mike!)
The story of my life… Always Robin, never Batman! *sigh*
