Today, while reading my email I came across, The Daily Post at WordPress : http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/05/11/equal-opportunity-prompting/ Though , I don’t regularly participate in these daily prompts for, writers, photographers and artists. Today, however a question was asked by the host, michelle w. Rather, the photography prompts were useful to the writers.
That question got me thinking as to which did I prefer doing. After much thought, I’ve decided I love doing both. Because, I love going on hikes and taking pictures of my day’s adventures. I, also love the process of editing my photos. I’ am not a professional photographer. But, I have fun playing one here ,( my blog) and Instagram @Cafee-Leah (name change soon). Besides, my iPhotography , which means, I use my iPhone only, to take pictures.That type of photography is, instant artistic gratification for me. I love my likes and instafriends on the social network
Though, that network is awesome! My writing, However, to me is like giving birth. It takes time to nurture written words. Until , at last the words mature into a page or pages. Than it’s time to let them go into the world to be judged positively, or ridiculed. The satisfaction of it can be short lived sometimes. Yet, the most exciting part of writing is that I ‘am learning on how to make my words better everyday. And, this makes it worth it.
Why? Just like my pictures above. It’s so great, marvelous , and wonderful when I see my words in print. It’s just like when I revisit pictures I have taken. Rereading my words fills me with the same pride as the pictures. But, with my writing, I can extend, add more of an impact when I combine my two loves and or talents. It’s through that, that I can hopefully have some imaginative stories to share with every body. And, in introspect, I might have the makings of what my first book will consist of.
Well, as far as that goes stay tuned. Also, for a little preview come read my little abode of a blog. Where,I will be using each of the photos of above as part of my own personally writing prompts. It is for this reason why I do these prompts at WordPress and any other place. They keep a creative’s mind active. I loves it.
