Kindfood and My Birthday

Posted on the 12 December 2011 by Paige
My uncle and almost aunt took me out for my birthday the day before my birthday. First we went to Tim Horton's, I got a peppermint tea and a donut. Then we went to Rattlesnake Point Golf Course to see if it was a good place for them to get married. I thought from the outside it looked like a mansion but from the inside it looked more like a funeral home. They said that the first place they went to seemed better. After that we went for lunch at Kindfood in Burlington. The outside was painted bright green and they had some nice plants outside in pink pots. Inside it was small, squishy and very pink and green. The food was good, all organic, vegan and gluten free. I had chili and the bread that came with the chili tasted like a muffin. Lindsey and Uncle Richard had sandwiches and me and Lindsey had chocolate muffins with coconut on top. Everything was very tasty. I would eat there again but it was expensive. On the wall of the cafe it said "Good food isn't cheap and cheap food isn't good". On the tiled floor of Kindfood they had photographs of famous vegetarian and vegan people. I took a bunch of pictures but they vanished from my camera so I had to borrow the pictures from the Kindfood website. Then we went to Chapters. I got a notebook, a game and two Webkinz pigs that I named Holly and Ears. Then they took me home. I had fun and a lot of money spent on me. Thanks guys! Lindsey is an introvert like me.
