I can't take my eyes off my computer screen and still have no tangible excuse for the silence. I am struggling with the whole internet world and I have no one to blame. Times like these (Doublemint gum), I truly wish there's a magic wand to make my internet competencies shoot up to expert level! So I've been trying to figure out how to migrate to Wordpress. It turned out I needed a host on top of my domain, and then I needed to fix the layout once more with plugins and codes! It's all I've been doing in the past days and not to mention I ought to be doing something more urgent. But I sit all day long in the same chair, website hopping and platform experimenting and only have a headache as a reward at the end of the day. So here's a photo of me in 2012 with a huge vegetable (courgette) somewhere in France. But I digress, I've also been cooking more. Cooking is proving to be as entertaining as blogging and that's great because my fondness for the world wide web badly needed an tough competition. Oh I am also organizing tons of files on my hard drive somewhere in between.
Speaking of urgency, we are changing our zipcode again in a couple of months. Piles of files sit on my desk and I inasmuch as I would like to say something politically important given the current turmoil in the Philippines for an update, I find myself already exhausted after reading about the ridiculousness of our issues back home. Corruption, same old. Traditional politicians, old news. Bombings in Mindanao, what's new? You get the drill so I stop here.
On top of it all, I terribly miss my family and I know my parents are missing me like crazy. I want to say I miss them terribly and I will see them real soon. I will try to exercise more and get extra energy to live up, if not endure, the requirements of living in year 2013. Be right back!
