Lake Shore Santa Claus Parade 2011

Posted on the 04 December 2011 by Paige

Yesterday I went to the Lake Shore Santa Claus Parade for the tenth time (and I'm only eleven). I like this parade because it's not as crowed as the Toronto parade and we sit in front of where my mom works so we can go inside to use the bathroom, get hot chocolate or extra blankets. This year a dentist was handing out travel toothpastes in the parade. We also got a lot of candy canes. My sister took most of the pictures in the video because I had my mittens on and it was hard to press the button. She took 455 pictures of the parade and the battery dies just before the Santa float.
Lake Shore Santa Claus Parade 2011On Friday I finished a worksheet on Arthropods. The worksheet was just colouring and labeling but a couple of the label lines were missing which made it hard and you had to label three different parts of a spider's tiny mouth.
For dinner we made eggplant patties and pasta salad. The patties were good even cold. We cut three eggplants into cubes and boiled them until cooked. Then drained them and added some gluten free flour, salt and chili pepper. Then my mom fried them. My sister dips them in BBQ sauce but no one else does.

I made the pasta salad myself with three different peppers. Red, yellow and orange, and a bit of red onion. Then I put some Greek salad dressing and Balsamic vinaigrette on it. The pasta was organic gluten free rice and vegetable pasta.
Anyone who wants to buy me a gift please refer to my wish list post below.
