I just got a great little freebie through the post- Le Volume De Chanel. Being the ever keen blogger I thought I'd blog about it! I wanted to talk more about make-up and other bits and bobs on my blog and more booktube on my YouTube. So here is my micro-review.
Le Volume De Chanel (the full tube) is available at Selfridge's for £24.00 so is a high end branded mascara. The black is very pigmented, unlike lower brand mascara's where the black can resemble more of a gray. The product although it is Chanel and a luxury brand, I hate to say I am dissapointed.. My collection mascara that is Killer Curves has lots more "oomph" and really delivers the lashes that I want. Another thing that annoys me is the lumpiness this could just be because it is a small tube. However, I think the plastic brush has been done before and there is nothing "new" about this mascara as far as I can see.
The Killer Curves mascacra is also much cheaper at £3.99 available at Boots or Superdrug. I think the Le Volume De Chanel will be one of those mascaras you either love, or hate. Which disappoints me as I thought this mascara would be a real treat to try. I would recommend high street over luxury in this case!
