I don’t have too much to write about today for my song of the day – nothing that would be of interest to anybody really. Tomorrow is a different story, so stay tuned.
In the interim, I thought I’d share a silly thing with you that I do every once in awhile. From time to time, I am known to look back on Billboard music charts from my childhood to see what the #1 song was. Just so y’all know – 30 years ago today, we were all listening to Madonna sing “Like a Virgin.” It was #1 for 4 weeks – from Jan. 5th – Jan. 26th, 1985.
I loved Madonna back in the day! In fact, I still love her. She’s unique, and her music is fun. It’s amazing that she’s been around for so long, and I’m certain that she still must have at least one more chart hit in her. I’m looking forward to that day.
So, from 30 years ago to present day, enjoy “Like a Virgin,” and have a wonderful day!
