Plus, people say it smells funny. I've never noticed, but it's kind of a big deal to wear something smelly on you face every day.
A week before I left Big City I stood in line behind a woman whose lashes looked false, but I couldn't see where they were glued on. Finally, so she wouldn't think I was a weirdo staring at her, I asked if they were fake.

"No," she told me, "I use L'Oreal mascara. It comes in a silver tube.""REALLY?" I asked, shocked. It looked like she had spent $40 on her mascara.
"Yup. Sometimes toward the end it start to run out. I just add some hot water, shake it up, and it keeps on going."
"Wow! Thank you!" I told her. And from then on, my life was changed.
OK, maybe not changed, but I was pretty excited. Because I still had two bottle of Falsies left I couldn't justify going out and buying new mascara. UNTIL this Saturday, when I threw the last bottle away.
CVS had an awesome sale and I had a coupon from the newspaper recently so what was normally $9.49 was actually about $7.00. A steal, if you ask me. (Which you didn't, but here you are so I'll keep going.)
Let me tell you sisters, it is INCREDIBLE stuff! If you don't already know of this amazingness, get yourself to the nearest drug store or Target and scoop it up! I don't know if CVS still has the sale going, but it's worth a shot. It also got me $3 extra care bucks. Score!
I was going to take a picture of my lashes and post it here, but my eyes at 8:00 in the morning give away how much of a morning person I am NOT. So the above picture will do. I don't have any proof that woman used Telescopic, but it looks pretty dang close.
The second purpose of this post is to ask you: Do you do the 365 Project? I'd love to follow you on there. I am starting today so I have nothing worthwhile on my page yet. If you leave a comment with your user name, I'll follow you.
