Its the last day of May, which means it is the Foodie PenPal reveal!!
I got some great stuff in my package this month! I ate everything within the first couple days. Good thing I got the pictures taken!
Nicole at Apples and Arteries sent me a great package full of a ton of great treats!
The dried pears and Justin’s Almond Butter were gone the first day! Dried fruit and nut butter is my all time favorite way to snack.
This magaine has been stting on my coffee table and I read it while I watch TV. It’s the perfect magazine to flip through during commercials!
I havent tried this Mac N Cheese yet but I am always down to trying gluten free, healthy versions.
My favorite item was the Bakery On Main Gluten Free Granola - Nutty Cranberry Maple Granola. It was so good! So sweet and satisfying. It was the perfect combination of nuts, dried fruit and crunch. MMMM! I finished the bag really fast, and have been craving it ever since. Nicole did an amazing job picking out goodies for me. Everything was gluten free and made my tummy very happy!
I sent my package to Alyssa @ Don’t Look Down. Unfortunately I think it may of got lost in the mail because as of yesterday she had not received it which is such a bummer. I sent it on the 16th of this month. It should of got there by now. Hopefully it will show up soon, thank you Alyssa for being so patient.
In case you’re a interested in participating in the Foodie PenPal program is all about:
-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you are to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month. *US Residents only please at this time- hopefully we can expand soon!*
