Thankvember: a unique blog hop hosted by my friend Shai at the the Vagabond Studio – fellow book page artist – is a chance for members of the blogosphere to settle into gratitude at a time of year when things start revving up… especially consumerism and for me…. there is a tendency to be sad due to grief and lack of holiday-extended-family-time.
I am thrilled to participate.
My goal is to list five different gratitudes daily.
- I am grateful, today, for my ability to see new things in my neighborhood even after living here for two decades. (That adorable little bed decoration at the fire house on Bernard Street, for example.)
- I am grateful, today, that Halloween was memorable for each member of my family.
I am grateful, today, Emma has had so much social success in high school and that even when times get tough, she is more resilient than before. I am also grateful she has learned to make friends outside her “main group of friends” because I know that always made me a happier camper. It has for her, too.
I am grateful, today, I can see photos of Katherine while she is studying in Edinburgh. That Velma costume was way too cute!
I am grateful, today – for two November online experiences and their hosts – Leah with Art Every Day Month and ofcourse, I am grateful for Shai at Vagabond Studios.
