Do you remember walking down the street and finding a twenty? Well, today I accidentally stumbled upon Michael Kiwanuka’s music, which is even better than stumbling upon a twenty!
On 14 June I’m going to see Marcus Foster at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. I’m really looking forward to this, so I decided I’ll have a listen on YouTube. It was there, in the “Suggestions” that I found Michael Kiwanuka. What a voice! And how I love his guitar! I decided to see whether he’d be performing here in the Netherlands, and sure enough he has a gig next week at the Melkweg on 29 April. Unfortunately for me, but unsurprisingly, his concert is sold out completely. I’m hoping for better luck next time he comes to the Low Lands.
