ANYWAY... they came to the Boise Music Festival on Saturday. Guess who went? Not me. Nope. miss Sassy got an invite from her friend who had an extra ticket, so she went. I was totally jealous but... equally happy for her. [Is that possible?] Next thing ya know, she calls me... from the concert. And this is what ensued. *Notice the tone in my all caps writing, or lack thereof. If you read it out loud, it sounds much better.
miss Sassy: MOM?! GUESS WHAT???
me: what?
miss Sassy: I JUST MET KARMIN!!!
me: shut up!
miss Sassy: SERIOUSLY - I JUST MET AMY & NICK!!!
me: i heard you - i said shut up!
miss Sassy: aw mom - don't be a hater. nick said "say hello to your mom for us!"
me: REALLY??
miss Sassy: YEA, BUT I MET THEM! AHHH! I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST MET KARMIN!
me: click.
