Missing You, #712

Posted on the 18 June 2013 by Juliezaz1 @juliezaz1

So, this is it, everyone….the morning we have been so excited for and dreading all at once. This is the morning I drop my baby girl off at camp. I will have no contact with her for two whole weeks. I am over the moon excited for her, but not knowing how she’s doing is going to be unbearable. I am already fighting off the tears even though my mother giggled as she said, “Don’t cry” when we hung up the phone last night. Ohhhh…this is going to be hard!!!

On a happier note, I get to go home today! This has been a very fun trip, but I miss my hubby and my son so much! My daughter and I have bonded big time after sharing camp together and spending some good quality time together in LA. All that said, I am ready to get home to my familiar life and to the other people that I love.

I think my daughter is feeling jealous. I can tell…she’s ready to go home, too. What she doesn’t realize is that her real adventure and the majority of her fun is just beginning. Camp is pretty much the best experience in the world, and after a couple of days, she will be thrilled not to have her Mommy around.

So, my song of the day is 80′s flashback “Missing You” by John Waite. My day today is all about the “missing you” emotions on both ends…..for what I will feel for my daughter and for what I do feel for my sweet husband and son. Click HERE to go to YouTube to hear the song, and please send vibe-y good wishes for getting me through this day. I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow. Until then….may your day be filled with music and song. Xo
