This was a productive week! Considering all that is hovering around me, it is surprising I was able to focus enough to get anything finished. Or, perhaps more accurate is to say because I have so much going on, I needed the distraction!
I finished two mixed media pieces that have been sort of hovering about the periphery of my life plus I made some tiny works of book/paper art which I'll be using in another project soon. It shouldn't surprise me again that my art this week all connects with poetry.
The original plan for this piece was very different than I expected. Its called Over Again. It is 8 X10 Paper, photography, acrylic, poetry and ink on canvas
Now I'm actually suppressing the giggles.
11 X 14 mixed media (dictionary pages, music, tissue paper, photo, acrylic paint)
What a silly Julie!~
