Words are the most powerful weapon. They are also the most powerful healer, and their power never ceases to amaze me.
I don’t have a long blog today except to say that this is what I am thinking about this morning. I went to bed last night with words nearly giving me a heart attack, and after a night’s sleep, I am brushing them off but with their impact still resonating within me.
My message today is….be careful with your words, because they have a deeper impact than you could ever possibly imagine.
With that said and now off of my chest, my song of the day today is “More Than Words” by Extreme. This is one of the first radio songs I ever learned how to play well on guitar (I forget most of it now). It is a love song, but what I love about it is how well the songwriter expresses that they need to be shown that they are loved…not told they are loved. This song believes that words are meaningless, and though I beg to differ, there’s something in me today that thinks this is a very refreshing thought.
