Morning Walk in Morro Bay: Just the Right Time for a Creativity Fix on Thanksgiving Morning

Posted on the 27 November 2014 by Juliejordanscott @juliejordanscot

I am writing to you from Morro Bay, California - my Thanksgiving home away from home.

I haven't even opened my computer since Monday. It has been one of those weeks!

I have continued to create, however - just not enough time to sit with the keyboard and get the results onto my blog.

Today I took a walk on the beach almost first thing this morning.

Along with my "going with the flow" theme, here are some of my favorite photos of the day so far.

Morro Rock looms in the distance: I am standing on the edge of low level dunes. Love the textures here and the air smelled so remarkable! My skin cannot see the sun for another couple months, so I cover up with sunscreen, hats and scarves. It is worth it! No skin cancer for me, never again! And a selfie, naturally. I'm so glad you are reading... and along for my creative adventures here in Morro Bay. I hope I will be able to catch up on my updates and work in general since my normal distractions aren't surrounding me. I was able to write this while the baby is napping.

He is pretty enamored with Granny... as I am with him!
