My Travelling Wishlist

Posted on the 06 December 2014 by Shruti2910
Travelling has been one of the most sought after life goal in almost every youngster's life these day. Thanks to Bollywood movies like Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani, this urge has just doubled. The wish to travel and explore the unexplored has no limits. This being said, one can hardly ignore to read between the lines of what I wrote in the first line. Being a youngster takes away one's opportunity to spend on one's leisure.
"Money doesn't grow on the tree, okay?", said my father once when I asked him to allow me to go to Goa with my friends for a holiday.
"But dad.."
Before I could finish my sentence, my mother entered,"You shut up! This is how movies are spoiling kids these days. They show a tiny girl going on a trip alone with her friends. We don't have money to let you unleash the traveler in you, okay?"
"Mom, I have my own savings", I said.
"So what? You have money means you've grown up? What about your stay? You know how the world is going berserk everyday? We can't trust you to stay just anywhere you want. Sit and study."
Which brings me to derive Murphy's Law: Never ever argue with mother!
However, being the optimistic that I am, I opened Airbnb, a unique booking portal with a network across the world in 190+ countries.
I open the website, register my name and there I go! Window seeing my dream places where I wish to go atleast once in my life. The site gives a unique feature to add the places to your wishlist.
Here is my wishlist: https://www.airbnb.co.in/wishlists/46635907
1. Goa!
Goa is heaven for an one in their 20s, if you get what I mean ;)
I've not been to many beaches except the one at Dwarka with parents. Yes, you read it right - With parents. You can already guess the fun part! Like one of my friends says, "Goa is a foreign land in India. You don't just feel you are in India!"
Who'd want to miss a foreign trip in their own country? Not me at least. Going to a foreign land also makes one treat you like a foreigner. One of the cons is being over charged. With Airbnb, I can check out the best location that fits my budget!
2.  Mumbai.
As surprising as it may sound, I have been to Mumbai just once for a college fest and that's it! I haven't really explored the city of dreams, a city that holds so many aspirations of humans it contains.
3. Kerala
Living in the middle of nature in the very own city of God. Need I say more?
4. Banglore
The hi-tech silicon city of India and a lavish luxurious apartment. I wouldn't want to miss!
5. Jaipur
I wish to go to Jaipur because I am not sure when next will life throw a chance upon me for being in India and enjoying the real India at an exotic palace like lavish house in the pink city Jaipur !
