Only Child.

Posted on the 07 December 2012 by Shruti2910
No, you are wrong.
Being the only child of your parents is no princess' thing.
Sure, you get material possessions undivided. But that matters to most of us in our 30s or 40s.
You surely get all the best education in the best schools, best clothes that no one is going to snatch from you, non-comparable attention.
Most importantly, you also get good amount of money from guests who come to your place, undivided.
But, stop. You are still wrong.
Being the only child of your parents is STILL no princess' thing.
Most people think you'd turn out selfish, spoiled and socially misfit because you are a single child.
Parents are one problem of the entire drama, because the post is about a child ONLY CHILD.
Their love and care and all the attention will suffocate you.
Their dreams will choke you.
Their aspirations will kill your life.
Their "We couldn't do this, but now we want you to do it" will batter your charm.
Everything, education, career choice, matrimonial decisions....everything is planned, because you are their only child.
And for heaven's sake, only child cannot have an adventures life!
You cannot make mistakes, because all the competitors, which are but naturally supposed to relatives, like papa's brother or sister or their kids, who are eying on the ONLY CHILD's property, will be sitting like stray dogs to pick the ONLY CHILD's mistake and appear smarter.
So if you are an ONLY (girl) CHILD with dad having good fortune, dare have a boy friend, or pictures with him that will give a chance to this eagles to 'black mail' you or your parents in our supposed mature Indian Society.
If you are ONLY CHILD, you have to be better brand ambassador than Amitabh Bacchan is for Gujarat Tourism.
Period.
Only Child. Only Child. Only Child. Only Child. Only Child. Only Child. Only Child.
