I must be on a product recommendation roll but I just have to share this fantastic little goody from Prepology.It's called Bunny Design Safety Lid Lifter Canopener. And yes, it is designed to look like a bunny and even has a bunny face on the front.
But more than its cuteness and variety of colors to fit any kitchen decor, what caught my eye is the handle mechanism with makes opening cans a breeze even for people with arthritis or carple tunnel. This little bunny has "ears" that are easily moved forward and backward rather than twisted round and round like conventional manual canopeners.
Not only that, but once the can is open, there is a lid lifter that pops the lid right off and best of all, there are no sharp edges left on the can or the lid. Lids don't fall into the product as can happen with other canopeners and the Bunny doesn't get messy since none of its parts touch the contents.
