Photo A Day Challenge - Shoes and Something Old

I have two pairs of shoes. Partly Mainly, because of lack of funds and partly because I have more important things to think about.  
Something old

This is probably the oldest book I own. The date of publication is around 1870. My husband bought it for me from a gorgeous second hand bookshop in Kalamunda, up in the hills of Perth. Inside was a sewing sampler bookmark of a boat. I have no idea what age it is. It looks quite old. I wonder what history is attached to this book and bookmark. I love to think of a young girl sitting in her drawing room, with her needle and cotton, taking a rest to read a poem or two in her book.
