The small area of Paddington fell into an unexpected dismay as it experience sudden power failure. The small block of Norfolk square which consist of small hotels and bed and breakfast were in shock, as the electricity failed in the early to late hours of 8pm. Local receptionist from Cardiff Hotel also within the area informed that "There were cable problems and power should come back within 30 to 40 minutes".
Through brief investigation, a consultant from 'UK Power Network' confirmed the unexpected powers shortage and reassured concerned individuals that the incident was cause by an'underground cable fault', and declared that engineers will be on their way to "investigate the loss of supplies in the area".
However there is no certainty for the time of restoration for the power loss.
