Titan and I have been enjoying chillin outside on the deck furniture. Yes, as Titan always does, he claimed both the couch and the chair. :) Typical of Titan. Everything is his and he allows us to use whatever it is and/or sit or sleep on it. ;)
So I thought I would post up some pics of the deck thus far, so you can see my new quiet place.
After adding the deck furniture, we realized it would be really nice to expand out the other side of the deck. (this is expanding the right side, as the left side is).
So hubs is currently working on that but this holiday weekend has been so ungodly HOT and HUMID, not much really has gotten done. I mean, it's truly
HOT outside when Titan doesn't even want to stay out there. Delaware heat and humidity just plan sucks!
Anywho.......Friday night, hubs and I went to Lowes. YEAH ME! We got a new grill! Woohoo!!
Hubs assembled the grill and we both put it up on the deck. The lil deck extension is perfect to house the grill.
Of course, with any new grill, the Chef needed utensils. :)
Of course, I couldn't let a post go by without sharing a pic of Titan. Yep, the sun was in his eyes and he just wasn't a happy camper.
Momma fixed it though, took him inside and gave him a special treat. :)
So as you can see, the deck project is still ongoing but we are making full use of it. I love it, especially in the evening when the sun is going down. So peaceful to just sit, chill, and detox from a day at work.
