If this picture doesn’t tell all, I don’t know what will! This is the front seat of my car. hehe

I love learning, reading and writing about health and fitness!
I can’t seem to read them fast enough… I have a subscription to Self and Women’s Health, and then I pick up the others at the gym. It’s pretty sweet, people leave their read magazines for other gym goers to read. I snipe the good ones! :) I always leave them once I read them.

Last night was the final game for my Thursday night soccer league. We won and ended up finishing third in the standings! Not bad for a bunch of Strugglers (that’s our team name :)

We went out to celebrate a great season at RiRa’s, an Irish Pub with traditional food, great beer & entertainment! It is in this really cool old NH bank from 1803, which makes it the oldest bank building in the USA!

I ordered a newer beer from the local Redhook brewery called the Saturnaleai Double Red Ale. I really liked it, it was super flavorful, full bodied, and had a robust hoppy taste. The beer was really smooth and easy to drink. But be careful if you do decide to order one because it is a whooping 8.3% alcohol.

It even came in a fancy mug!

SAM_0468 Vinnie didn’t love this brew, but then again, he is a more traditional Budweiser kind-of-guy.
We ended up staying out way too late and I did not want to get up this morning. Coffee was necessary!

Since it’s Friday, I wanted to give you a little something fun to explore over the weekend!
I frequently receive emails from Groupon, Living Social, and Eversave Boston about discounted spa treatments, restaurant meals, or weekend getaways. But, get this…these group buying sites are not just for the fancy dinners and pricey facials anymore. Now there is a slew of new discount websites dedicated to fitness gear, apparel and experiences. I know Living Social and Groupon do feature similar items, but these websites are solely for your fitness pleasure. When you have time, check ‘em out.

Schwaggle from Active.com – for runners and triathletes.
Clymb.com – for adventurous types. You will find skiing/climbing/hiking equipment, footwear and outerwear.
Steep and Cheap – They offer one item for a discount, until it is sold out. As I speak they are offering this really nice Patagonia Fleece for $69.99. They tell you the quantity they have left in stock so you know how quickly you need to act!

Whiskey Militia is another good site, like Steep and Cheap with more brands like Vans, Burton and Quicksilver.

Question:
What are your weekend plans?
Do you shop at these discount websites?
