This morning my whole body hurt from gymnastics, I could barely bend my knees. I'm only eleven and I'm already getting old. I was worried I wouldn't be able to horseback ride today, but I did. I even trotted again today and picked out my horses hooves and groomed him. He kept turning his head to look at me but I'm wasn't sure why. I couldn't tell if he liked what I was doing or was upset. He started to lick my hair once, so I guess he was being friendly (or trying to eat me!).
When I pick my sister up from the bus stop the kids I used to go to school with don't even say hi to me. I have no idea why my grandparents think I should miss them. I mean I'm right there and no one said anything to me when I stopped going. My sister said they told her at school that they missed me but they always just ignore me.

Today I went to the Region of Peel's GE Booth Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Soiled water from toilets and soapy water from showers and laundry, is called wastewater.
Wastewater is collected in pipes that run throughout your home. It leaves your house through one pipe running beneath your home to the street and then heads to the Sanitary Sewer System.
Region of Peel's GE Booth Wastewater Treatment FacilityI learned that the Wastewater Treatment Facility filters the water by putting it through screens to get out all the big stuff and that they add chlorine and oxygen to the water before the water is put into big holding tanks. Then they wait for the heavy stuff to sink and the light stuff to float to the top. A machine goes over the water and scraps the stuff off the top (scum) and off the bottom (sludge). This process is done a few times. Then they remove the chemicals from the water (they didn't tell us how) and dump the water back into the lake. The scraped off material is incinerated and the ashes are dumped in a big pit. This facility does not make drinking water, they just filter waste water before it is dumped back into the lake. I also got a free stainless steel water bottle that said "Just turn on the tap".

I had lunch with grandpa at the mall after the trip. I ate rice, vegetables and noodles in the food court.
After that I picked my sister up from school with my mom. I was scared, I didn't want to get out of the van. School is like the prison of Azkaban from Harry Potter, full of dementors.
Azkaban = The jail in Harry Potter where they keep the evilest criminals.
Dementors = are soulless creatures considered to be among the foulest beings on Earth. They are soul-sucking fiends who, as their name suggests, cause people who encounter them for too long to lose their minds.
