Oh, back to the engagement.... YAY YAY YAY. Time to answer the top questions from others in my life:
How did he do it?We went and watched the fireworks show in town and as we got back to our place and were heading up our steps he got down on his knee in the street (no one else was around) and told me he loved me and couldn't imagine a life without me in it.
Were you surprised?Yes, that he didn't ask 6 months ago! But really I figured it was coming very soon but I was too tired from all the wrong guesses that I didn't even think it would be on the 4th of July.
Are you happy?YES! I'm going to be marrying the man of my dreams who makes me laugh and understands me completely. Plus he got me an absolutely gorgeous ring.
Did he go to Florida with you?NO! He actually had to leave less than 12 hours after popping the question to go to his hometown and tell his parents that a) He got engaged and b) He was quitting med school
Wait, he quit med school?Officially, no. He is taking some time off and currently not going. Unofficially Mori has pretty much checked out of the doctoring world but more on that later.
When's the wedding?Seriously??? Give me some time to plan!
1) My sister and I waiting in our hotel for our parents to finish checking in. I missed her!
2) The hotel had a waterpark with a lazy river and amazing bar service. Buckets of Coronas by the pool anyone?
3) Lined up all the family members so we can go to dinner!
4) My dorky mom and step dad.
5) Celebrating my engagement with a McDonalds happy meal. HAH
