I was meant to do this post 2 months ago when I was very in love with this cleansing water.
I got this statch back in Christmas time when they did a promotion. I stocked up so much that I think I need to sell them as I cannot finish every single one.
I was inspired by Beauty Sketch by Jacq today and I think I should do a similar post to show how much I stock up. I personally think that we both can drink these water. I believe that I have stock 2L of this Bioderma Sensibio H2O product as well. I have never repurchased a skincare products that have backup for lives and lives.
The average time of using 100ml is about 2 months for me. With this stock, I think I will have enough for 1.5 years (or even longer).
This is the new packaging of Bioderma cleansing water.
I heard mixed review on this pump version. I personally really like the pump as I can control the amount of product being pumped out. However, if I am not careful enough, the water will pump through the cotton wool and wet other skincare products.
What is written on the bottle?
A bioderma innovation, Sensibio H2O gently cleanses and removes make-up from face and eyes. The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities whil maintaining the cutaneous balance. Smoothing active ingredients prevent the skin feeling irritated. Excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance.
Ingredients
water (qua), PEG-6 capric glycerides, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, mannitol, xylitol, rhamnose, fructosegosaccharides, propylene glycol, disodium edta, cetrimonium bromide.
To be honest, I have mixed feeling with this product. I enjoy using it because it is very handy and removes make up off very well on my skin. Even after using Eve Lom (my holy grail cleanser on earth), I used a wipe of Bioderma water, I can still see some makeup residue being cleaned off my skin.
If I use this water, I find my clotted pores appear quicker, that I have to use another cleanser after using this wipe to give my skin extra cleanse. Sometimes when I am lazy and didn't do extra cleanse after Bioderma, I will wake up with enlarged pores.
I really do have love-hate relationship with this product. Overall I think it is worth the hype with the ingredients and it is worth the penny if you are investing in this product. However, I think I need to find another alternative as the price of Bioderma Sensibio H2O is getting more and more expensive.
