"Do not call yourself a modern woman if you use fairness creams. JUST DO NOT" Indian market is booming with beauty products that claim to enhance your complexion and do every other thing to make world uni-color - "White" While I doubt if this equality in complexion is their vision, mission and goal, this is making crores of women uncomfortable in their own skin forcing them to try out things that are injurious to the most important part of their body: SKIN. What puts me off is the fact that most beauty creams focus more on "fairness" than improving health of the skin.
My mother who has always been 'nimbu-besan-malai' fan is strictly against such products. She has always been Kajol fan and when she featured in Olay total effects products, mommy thought it would do equal wonders to her skin as well. Meanwhile Blogadda announced a review program for the same and I had the Olay Total Effects. What was astonishing about the cream was it didn't claim 'fairness' in 7 days. Instead, it works onto the skin's texture.

So I tried to experiment with this product on my mother who is already their ambassador's fan and checked out if it really worked.
