Ten years ago ago today, I was married to the most wonderful man. These past years have been a true adventure, but still today, after 10 years of spending so much time with one person, he still makes me laugh and enjoy life to the fullest. I am truly blessed to have him in my life, and I value every moment together.
This morning, we are waking up in Victoria, British Columbia together with our kids being taken of by our families back in Arizona. It is just the two us right now…just like we started this relationship. What a precious vacation this is. It is so great to have this shared moment together, as we think about our darling beautiful kiddos every step of the way.
I promise to share a travel blog of our vacation with lots of photos when we return home, but for now, this blog is just about the two of us and how what we have and have created between us is so very good. There is only one song I could use as our song of the day today. It is the song we danced to at our wedding, and even though I have used it as a song of the day in the past, it is the only one suited for our 10th anniversary. Click HERE to hear Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon in the Sky.” It is a song oozing with romance, and any time I hear it, I think back to our wedding day and how I felt dancing with my then new husband.
