If I was a baby, I would have been fussing all day yesterday, perhaps waiting for a tooth to break through or having a gassy belly from something Mommy was feeding me but I didn’t have the ability to tell her.
In my case it was just a general malaise about my face hurting and wishing I had someone to just sit beside me, preferably reading aloud to me, and letting the world go by without me continuing to take care of my responsibilities. You know, a respite where I could sit with the pain and someone might actually do things for me.
It’s a grand fantasy and helped me step into the flow to create today’s mixed media art: “scribble scrabble.”
Gouache, acrylic, vintage photos, vintage book pages and ink on repurposed junk mail.
What emotions/thoughts come up for you when you experience “scribble scrabble” either in life or in this image I created?
