Semper Fidelis

Posted on the 30 April 2012 by Nickmcdonald @W_W_O_Nick_McD
Always faithful, always loyal.
There is so much hate in this world, so much lying, and deception, all held for fear, and cowardice. Why can't we take a lesson from this saying that has been around since ancient times semper fidelis so simple yet so miss understood, used as the motto for armies and warriors alike, from the Romans to the U.S Marine Corp there is a legacy of death that follows this praise where ever it goes. Why must we be faithful, and loyal? Because that is what it means to be human, it's not what it means to be a marine, it's not what it meant to be a centurion, it is what it means to be human. This is a powerful idea but when used in the wrong hands it brings nothing but hate and hypocrisy, you must be faithful to everyone, and loyal to everyone. Semper fidelis is NOT latin for "always faithful, always loyal, but only to people who have similar beliefs"

So stop with the hate, stop with the lying and just treat others loyally and faithfully.
