And as they say, ghar ayi lakshmi ko thukrate nahi, I quickly welcomed her and asked her to be seated.
"So, Goddess Lakshmi, how did you manage to get to my house? I am not even slightest of a devotee kind of a person!", I asked her as she sipped on some tea.
"Tch tch. I don't like people who mispronounce my names", she asserted.
"Huh?", I wondered if she wanted me to call her using any of her other million names invented  by human kind!
"You can call me Quikr Lakshmi. I am trying to get hold of cool age and technology, you see?"
"Oh"
"And getting to your question, I was guided to your house by Blogadda", she answered.
"I am kind of tired, woman. This Diwali season I tell you! Get me a bean bag or alike so I could relax!", she said stepping outside from her lotus-seat.
"But..ermm...we don't have a bean bag", I sighed in embarrassment.
Here I had Goddess Lakshmi  , Quikr Lakshmi at my home and I couldn't even provide her with a comfortable seat, forget gold and silver coins devotees donate on her name.
"Oh poor lady! Come here!", she said pointing me to sit next to her.
She spread her left palm of third hand and chanted some mantras. And my smartphone from my bedroom came flying and landed swiftly on her palm.
This shit is getting serious!

Her thumb stretched on the top left corner of my phone as she tapped on Play Store from where she downloaded Quikr application on my phone.

She clicked on 'Sign In/ Register' on the top left of the screen.
The process asked if I was an Individual or related to business. She tapped on Individual.
It asked us my e-mail id, password, phone number and city. Within 2 minutes we were done with the registration! I had to simply call a number to verify my account.
Quikr Lakshmi surely made things very quick!
The application asked us to buy, rent or find from any of the categories mentioned. Quikr Lakshmi tapped on "Home&Lifestyle"

The application asked us to select our city. We tapped on Ahmedabad.Shopping Fiesta with Quikr Lakshmi and Blogadda!

"Come, try doing it yourself", Quikr Lakshmi said, handing me my phone.I tapped on "Home-Office Furniture" I could see various things on sale at very reasonable cost! However, I realized that the options were really less. A lot of things weren't available in my location. I tapped on search button and typed "Bean Bag". I was presented with various results and I quickly clicked in "Filter" button to narrow down my hunt. I wasn't very sure of meeting a random stranger for purchasing a product, nor did I want to buyused product. So I filtered to see advertisement by "Dealer" of product in a  "New" condition. Also, I reset my price range to INR 0-3000

I scrolled through the results. I realized we shall be shifting in a new house in 20 some days. And I wanted a red bean bag to compliment the color of the living room. So I saw advt. by a dealer who sold bean bags in 20 different colors. I tapped on the advt. where I could see several photos and detailed description of the product. It had phone number of the dealer. I quickly called him and asked him for his address. He said the product I wanted was available and I could collect it anytime. This somewhat hitched me. While on most of my online shopping, I simply had to order from home and the dealer would send the product via courier service. I wished if Quikr application integrated a pick-up and delivery service for sellers and buyers. Shopping Fiesta with Quikr Lakshmi and Blogadda!
Anyways, the shop wasn't too far away from my house. So I dressed up and chose the color. The dealer told me that the cost of the product was INR 3200 and he would give me discount of INR 400. I showed him the Quikr advt. and he had to give me the product in INR 2600 net.
I came back home, super-excited.
Here was my bean bag, within just some 40-45 minutes! :D

After clicking some pictures,I quickly offered the bean bag to Quikr Lakshmi on which she sat comfortably.
"OH MY GOD! WHO IS SHE?", entered my mother.
I told her about Quikr Lakshmi as they exchanged warm glances. I told heer about the newly purchased Bean Bag.
"Beta paani-vaani toh pilao mehmaan aye hai..", my mom ordered.
Just as I was standing up to get water, mommy held my hand and pulled me down.
"This girl I tell you! Has such rough hair and doesn't even comb! Jungli! Look at Giridhari uncle's daughter! Kitna achhe se taiyaar hoke rehti hai woh.", she grumbled.
"The usual", I winked to Quikr Lakshmi.
"Aww poor girl! Come come, let me bless you with some fashion sense too!", QL whispered. Let's name her QL for now.
She opened Quikr app again on my phone and handed it over to me. I knew what she wanted me to do!
I clicked on "Home&Lifestyle" >> "Health-Beauty Products"

It showed me various options yet again. I tapped on search icon and typed "hair straightener". Halfway, I had the suggestion from the app.
I clicked on it and the first result itself caught my eyeballs. 13 in 1 Phillips Hair Multistyler in just 3k!
I quickly saw the specs, verified it from the original product website. I called the seller on the phone number provided. The product belonged to a person who got it as a gift from a relative in U.K. She told me she doesn't use a styler and hence wanted to sell it.

And surprisingly, she lived very nearby to my place! I put on my chappals and without wasting a minute went to buy my new hair styler! The product was with its original packing, bills and as claimed, never used. It costed me INR 3000 more.
I bought it home to see my mother more delighted than anyone else could be!
I am yet to learn how to use it and I already feel gorgeous as I write this.

"I think I need to leave now. My Bhakts would be waiting for me. I am yet to visit 99 more bloggers, as suggested by Blogadda", QL said.
I went to touch her feet to seek  blessings shagun :P
She handed me with a small voucher containing INR 5000.
"No, no. You are spoiling her", my mother interrupted.
Worst thing mom says, I mumbled to myself.
Quikr Lakshmi smiled.
"Let me know if I can do anything for you?", I asked her as she was readying herself to leave.
"Write about your experience with me and Quikr today. If I like it, I might come to your new house yet again and give you voucher worth INR 25,000!", she said disappearing in thin air.
