My Grammy lost her husband when my mother was only five-years-old. She never re-married or dated anyone else. It is my family's hope that she is finally with her one true love again.

I feel like this is one of the happiest pictures/moments of her life, and this is how I imagine she is in Heaven right now. 
Due to distance, many of my memories with my grandmother took place when I was younger. These "polynoses" were one of our favorite things to play with. We'd try and stick them on our noses, and peel them open while taking walks. 
She also always went to the Discovery Channel Store with SisterT and me. She would buy use foam boomerangs and we'd play with them in the backyard, and sometimes in the living room if we were lucky. 
You always think about what you would have said to someone you love had you known they were going to pass. I would have thanked her for raising a magnificent person in my mother. My grandmother raised my mom on her own, and because of the lessons and values she raised her with, SisterT and I had an incredible childhood with an unbelievably amazing mother. Thank you Gram from the bottom of my heart for giving SisterT and me the best mom. We love you and miss you. And we know that you are finally home. We'll be seeing you.
