Today’s Joy dare for ,Count 1000 gifts, (inspired by the book with the same name, written by Ann Voskamp.) was: A Gift Worn, White, Whispered. It took me the better of the day to figure out what I could possibly use. As I have been looking for gifts in the moment, rather than thinking back as best I can. However, today, I didn’t think I would be able to do that. So, I set my mind on something worn or whispered.
Where I began to reflect back on past gifts, I received from friends and family. I came up with lots! That it was hard to choose. Because, sometimes my present weren’t always wrapped in a pretty box. They came in the form of kind words. That, I keep wrapped around my heart, entwined with my prayers and the love that God has given me. He’s given them to me for , to unwrap and know that I’m loved, at all times. Knowing, this I felt I found my gift.
But, I must say I didn’t realize that another gift is the white canvas of my computer screen before I write these words. Thanks to God in Christ :) that I’am able to have moments of free creativity. Now, my Joy dare is complete until, tomorrows next dare.
* I would also, like for everyone to know, I still respect and get inspired in my own beliefs . Especially when I see the positive actions and hear the positive words of any good person, regardless of thier beliefs. So, thank you all, for making me a better Christian.
