Happy Father’s Day!!!! This blog today is dedicated to all the Daddy’s out there, because you are all so dear! Dad’s are the best! I am among the belief that Mom’s nurture and Dad’s play. It is true….we all have our roles in life, and I love honoring all that Daddy’s give and give and give.
So, let me introduce to all of you the two most important men in my life.
My Dad. Here he is with my kids when we went pumpkin picking one year at Buckelew Farms just outside of Tucson. I get so many of my characteristics from my father. I know that all of my creativity and my artistic nature is from him. My Dad is a sculptor, and though I am lousy with clay, I get my quirky artsy side from him. (I also get my great cholesterol from him, too — thank goodness for his stellar chemical make up!)
And here is one of the most special moments ever with him…when he gave me away on my wedding day.
And this is my husband. Oh, my hubby is such a good Dad. He is so loving! Our kids adore him. He is fun and caring and so special. I can’t say enough good words about him!
How many Dads would dress up as a hot dog in order to compliment their daughter’s mustard?

I am a blessed lady surrounded by two amazing fathers in my life. What great men!!! My kids are so lucky to have wonderful male role models guiding them around every corner!
My song of the day is such a sentimental one I found by country/rocker crooner Keith Urban. I love his song, “Song for Dad.” It is so heartfelt and really says everything it should on Father’s Day. I love that it is upbeat and uplifting and completely not depressing. That’s the way a Father’s Day song should be. So enjoy….and give some good hugs to the Dads in your lives today. They deserve it!
