Spaghetti Dinner

Posted on the 14 November 2011 by Paige
On Friday I went to a spaghetti dinner fund raiser for the Elisha Foundation which helps families with children that have special needs. They showed a video of their work. It was informative but the videography was shaky. It was okay but not the way I would have done it. It has lots of similar shots and weird closeups. My neighbor made all the food. Some spiciness was accidentally added and everyone at my table was sweating but I thought it was nice. First we had salad and bread then speghetti and bread. Then for dessert we could have either pumpkin or apple pie. While we were eating there was a silent auction. I wanted a gift basket full of art supplies but only brought $35.00 with me and was outbid at $40.00. I think my neighbor did a great job. They even auctioned off the left overs. The dinner was held at a big church. It looked more like an apartment building though. It had a church room, a nursery and a preschool upstairs and a gym which the dinner was held in. There was also a large kitchen attached to the gym and a big lobby and a library.
On Thursday the dog trainer came and said to carry treats around with you all the time so that you can treat the dog all the time when he is calm so he will start to like us. Treats, treats, treats. Before that I got to play with Beyonce for an hour until her new owner came to pick her up. Beyonce is the little kitten from my mom's work.
