As some of you remember I did a pervious post on a trip to Oklahoma http://leahjlynn.wordpress.com/2013/09/01/know-when-to-hold-them/. Where, I went with my family to the WinStar World Casino & Hotel . As you can see in the photos, the reason why it’s called the World casino. By, it’s remarkable remakes, of some of the worlds most popular land marks. I, especially was taken away by Big Ben at night. It looked so real.
* I will post the actual road trip photos on a later post. As, I have montage fever. After discovering, the Vintagio app. So, not only I’am I a writer, I might be a film maker in progress too. Ha!
With joking aside, I began to take tons of pictures. I also, might add, I’am not a gambler, never have been. But, I had it in my mind, that I was going to use this journey as way to draw some good tourism to Oklahoma and this Casino. As it’s unlike, the hustle and shadiness of some places in Las Vegas. Though, Vegas has some amazing places that, I could compare completely to this one . As I was comfortable in my surroundings of this massive resort/ casino. Where I didn’t once, feel the pressured into gambling or fast talked into anything I didn’t want to do.
Instead, I had more of a need to adsorb the culture of the place. Being a quarter native American, I was on the look out for meeting other natives. So, it’s no surprise, to you all, the readers. That I tried to talk everyone into going further into town. So, that we could discover more of local culture in O.K.
Yes, I know it’s farm land with varies different backgrounds. Which is why, doing this might encourage others, hopefully, to visit also. In order to help their domestic economy . As we know they suffered from some horrific storms and need the boost.
However, to no avail that didn’t happen. Due, to the well treatment of the staff and the easy feel that was felt through out the place. As well as, some lucky beginnings on their machines. Needless to say, they were content. This left me with a , God sized dream to pursue on my own, to prompt this state .
So, I left them to their good natured gambling and went exploring as far as my feet would let me. I would figure out how to start my purpose for going there. Which came to me quickly , As I remembered I wanted to take pictures of a huge globe I saw outside. But, I wanted to enjoy sitting by the poolside first. As, so much was going on in my creative mind. Beside, I could start reading some books I brought just for this moment to chill. Maybe? It was than, while going to the pool that, I notice that resort was an apt title, too. As, I could smell the relaxing herbs of lavender after passing the day spa.
This made sitting by the pool, like sitting outside, on an exotic Island. In fact it felt like I was on my own little island. Because I, found one of the four huge cabana chairs open. Luckily, it was still early and not a lot of people. So, I didn’t feel guilty about having it to myself. .

However, It started to get busy by noon, and that’s when I decided to meet the family , in France for lunch at a cute sandwich café called: Le Paris inside WinStar World.
I could go on forever and make this a never ending post on this place. As, I walked miles of it and each place I was somewhere new. Like New York, Rome, China, London . For someone like me who doesn’t gamble, I did enjoy the adventure of the scenery.
Hopefully, on my next trip I’ll be able to do even more. Like, have lunch at a home town diner. Shopping, at a quaint shop. Picking fruits and veggies out at a real farmers market. I’ am not, sure if all that is there. But, soon I will find out bring it to y’all.
Or perhaps, you all could help me fulfill my God Size dream and visit there your self. Starting at this hotel. Which by the way, has a some popular bands giving a concert there. So, check out who’s playing, get a massage, rent a car and go see the beauty of O.K. Before or after you gamble , eat some good food and see a show,. Where at…..

I would not like for us to go to Syria if I we had a vote on it, as American voices. ~End of that conversation, there I made my true, my soul and if God did speak I feel he would agree. Something’s, not right with the whole thing.
