Running away is not an option,
And that is what I have realised,
But what does one do,
When the world comes after you.
Nagging you for your difference,
Laughing at your ignorance,
Why can't people accept you
for who you are.
Why do we bully others,
Give them names like stupid, dumb,
One incident doesn't define people,
Such words should be banned.
People don't realize how it affects another,
Devastating could be a word to describe the feeling,
Even if you find a slow learner,
Find a better thing to say.
And if you can't utter anything
nice at all,
Then just keep quiet,
But don't degrade another,
If you just can't understand.
