I spent my weekend at the beach with a friend, rejuvenating my wardrobe with several very productive shopping trips (yay!), and escaping the heat by binge-watching Real Housewives of New York in our bedroom with the AC on, while Joseph studied next to me. We went to dinner Saturday night and on the way back, I made him turn the car around and go back to this spot so I could try to capture the magic of this sunset.
That golden light, the warmth rising from the earth, the scent of marsh and mud, my new tan tingling in the last rays of sun… I love my home.
