Sunshine
The eyes are swollen
reddened with pain and anger
this must change,
I say to myself
out loud
everytime I am tested
it leaves me wanting
for a better outcome
for a better input
and yes, my favourite
if only I could have been a little more proactive
Alas! I wasn't
and I think I never will be
Because as somebody puts it
One can never be prepared
But one can always try
and become what he set out for
So today,
I am hopeful
for a great future lies ahead,
right in the vicinity
Where my trials and tribulations take me
All I need is the right hook
To catch the sleeping devil
and make sun shine a little more brightly
over me..
