If someone were to ask me what my favorite type of cheese would be, it would take me less than a millisecond to answer them... Brie! I love brie on sandwiches, as a snack, with cranberries or cranberry sauce, with apples, with turkey, and the list goes on.
My favorite appetizers to make are "Brie Poppers."
Here are the ingredients:
That's it!
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.2. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. 3. Cut brie into pieces a little larger than a quarter. 4. Take one crescent triangle and wrap it around the quarter-sized piece of brie. Roll in hands to make a ball shape. Place on cookie sheet. 4. Put brie poppers into oven for about 8-10 minutes, I like mine a dark golden colored. Some of the brie may spill out, but it'll come right off the cookie sheet. (It is the best part)
So simple and so quick, they are great to have during any family function or dinner. Be careful though, wait a few minutes before taking a bite... the cheesy inside can be VERY hot!
Hope you are having a great weekend! I went for a ride with Mrs. Darcy today in her new car! We stopped by Dick's Sporting Goods, which is currently offering 50% off their clearance items. Check it out if you haven't yet; there are lots of wonderfully priced items to find there.
