Move over Magic Mike (or…errr…Channing Tatum), I have a new imaginary boyfriend!  Have you all checked out the dreamy blue eyes and big guns on the new Superman “Man of Steel” actor?  Huminah, huminah, huminah….he makes my heart go pitter pat!  This is one seriously good looking guy!  I am swooning!

We saw “Man of Steel” last night.  The movie had some flaws, but I loved every minute of it.  It is a remake of the original Superman, and the casting and special effects make it a must see.  The directors did a great job with the remake, and while Christopher Reeve will always be the sentimental favorite Superman, there is no denying that actor, Henry Cavill was a wise choice to fill his shoes.

Though I really did love this film, it was truly disappointing to me that they didn’t use the original John Williams theme song in the movie.  Why would they have opted out of such timeless music?  Han Zimmer composed new music for “Man of Steel,” and though the music is well written, it simply is not as memorable as the original.  Could Warner Brothers not get the copyright for it?  I can’t imagine that to be true. This blockbuster did not seem like it spared any expense, so what gives?

I am finding today as I am daydreaming about my new celebrity crush that I need to hear John William’s “Superman” music, so yep…you guessed it.. it is my song of the day.  Click HERE to go to Youtube to hear movie music at its best.  It is iconic and well, just perfect for any Superman.  This music will always bring a smile to my face.
