Technology RUAALLLZZZZ....bitch

Posted on the 17 April 2012 by Nickmcdonald @W_W_O_Nick_McD
The Internet is the greatest thing ever invented. Honestly I would rather walk everywhere, and freeze my ass of in the winter than not have the Internet it has brought people together in a way unlike anything else! You can sit in your brown leather chair smoking a pipe and reading a book looking down on people like me that pretty much only talks to people on the Internet. But fuck you, what makes meeting people on line any different than meeting in person if anything it is better there is sooooooooo much less pressure and the anonymity protects your reputation in the real world. If you say something stupid you could run into that person the next day and they wouldn't even know it is you! And you can be totally honest because you know what that person is looking for they wouldn't be on a dating site of they didn't want a date, so the awkward part is already out of the way. I'm not saying we should just sit behind our computers all day, but the Internet was created for a reason! To connect us in every way! To not use this amazing creation is like slapping advancement in the face.
This doesn't just apply to the Internet it applies to every technological advancement since the beginning of time their was probably people saying that the wheel was for lazy people and only real men carried stuff by hand don't be one of those people! we invent things to make life better and sooner or later everyone will realize that movies are better than books, TV is better than telling stories, and the Internet is better than social interaction. Because they are the same thing!!! the Internet IS social interaction, TV IS story telling, and books ARE movies!! They are just more intricate and advanced versions.
My advise for this post. If you're lonely, get on the Internet and go meet someone, try a dating site, put an ad on Craigslist, do something! Just because something started on line doesn't make it any less real.
