Sometimes the quotes that stick aren’t necessarily the good ones. I have written something on Twilight being my guilty pleasure before and I know the books aren’t really that good and neither are the movies, but I just dig them. Live and let live, folks. Anyway, there is just one line in the first part of the Saga that irks me every time. When I watch the film at home, I just fast-forward when I get to that scene in the movie so I don’t have to see it and cringe. It’s extra stupid, because that line is not from the book, so they just put it in there for who knows what reason. Supposedly, Catherine Hardwicke, the film’s director, presented Robert Pattinson with a list of choices on what to say in that particular scene and he chose “You better hold on tight spider monkey”. I guess I just don’t want to know what the other options were if he chose to say this.
